Now offering: Creative workshops for kids!
MuuMuu’s Crafting Workshops are an initiative towards supporting and helping your children to be creative while also having fun.
Why?
Because children are naturally creative. This is what I have learned after almost two years of constantly working with them in after school settings and during school holidays.
Kids love making up games and stories, building and inventing things, in one word, creating.
Knowing that your children are busy with creative activities rather than watching television or playing computer games makes you as a parent happy as well. Still, you might not always have the time or ideas to organize and supervise creative activities for your children.
What?
And this is what I have to offer: crafting workshops during which your children put their creative ideas and skills into action and improve them at the same time.
Simply put, we are making things using a wide range of materials from clay (air drying ceramics, polymer clay, plasticine or playdough), to reusing household materials (toilet rolls, egg & milk cartons, old bottles and jars etc.), from paper to textiles and threads.
More specific, the children will be making a choice of:
- Jewelery and accessories (great as gifts as well) such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, hair accessories or key-chains (great for boys to make).
- Handmade toys and figurines such as animals, insects, cars, robots and fantastic characters and animals (princes, princesses, witches, dragons etc.)
- Thematic accessories and decorations related to holidays like Easter, Christmas, Halloween, and Thanks Giving Day.
- Birthday and holiday cards; congratulation cards, Mother & Father’s day cards.
- Home decorations such as jewelry boxes, candle holders, mail holders etc.
The workshops are suitable for children between 4 and 10 years of age with a minimum of three and a maximum of eight participants. All materials are provided and the projects are adapted to the age of the participants. One workshop takes between one and a half and two hours during which children work on one or two projects, depending on the complexity, work speed and eventual waiting time.
When & Where?
Muumuu’s crafting workshops are offered in Rotterdam and surroundings* and are a creative and fun addition to:
Children’s birthday parties (all present kids can participate).
Grown-up parties where children are present.
Play-dates with more than two children. Sunday schools & after school care facilities.
Costs?
10 euro per participanting child.
Launching offer: for a full group of eight kids the tax is 60 Euro instead of 80.
